Dr. Jonathan M. Sykes is the immediate past President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. During his 20 years of experience, he has published more than 100 professional articles and three textbooks.
Dr. Sykes continues to make contributions to the advancement of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He designed a patented instrument used by top surgeons to simplify the endoscopic brow lift procedure, making recovery after surgery much quicker.
Dr. Sykes received his medical degree in 1981 from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and his general surgery residency in 1983 from George Washington University Medical Center. He completed his otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Sykes completed his fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at UC Davis.
