SkinPen® is an FDA-approved automated microneedling device with needles cycling over 100 stamps per second, creating microscopic channels that stimulate collagen and elastin production. This treatment is effective for treating fine lines, skin texture, scars, and discoloration, and it works particularly well when paired with PRP treatment. Because the treatment harnesses your body’s own collagen-building response, results continue to improve for weeks after each session, making it a popular choice for patients who want long-term, natural-looking improvement.

This non-invasive, multi-step treatment combines hydradermabrasion exfoliation, chemical peel, automated extractions, and antioxidant/hyaluronic acid serums to address sun damage, fine lines, dehydration, and oily/congested skin. Appropriate for all skin types, many patients schedule a HydraFacial the week of a special event for an immediate, noticeable glow with no downtime.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels accelerate skin exfoliation for renewed, healthier-looking skin. They do so by addressing fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and texture issues from aging, sun exposure, or acne scarring and are available in multiple strengths. Jennifer will help you choose the right depth and formulation for your skin type and goals, from a light refresh to a more targeted treatment for stubborn discoloration or texture concerns.

Clinical Facials

Jennifer customizes your facial treatments to include cleansing, exfoliation, massage, masque application, and moisturizing using medical-grade products. Each facial is tailored session by session, so your treatment plan can adapt as your skin changes with the seasons or in response to other treatments you’re receiving.

Aesthetician Services FAQs

What skin concerns can an aesthetician address?

Services resolve aging (fine lines, wrinkles, elasticity loss), skin texture (roughness, uneven tone, enlarged pores), hyperpigmentation (sunspots, age spots, melasma), acne and scarring, and dehydration.

How do I know which treatment to choose?

Master Aesthetician Jennifer assesses your skin type, discusses your concerns, and recommends solutions aligning with your goals, considering skin sensitivity, desired outcomes, and previous procedures.

Can I combine aesthetician services with surgical procedures?

Yes, aesthetician services complement plastic and reconstructive surgery. Pre-surgical treatments prepare skin enhancing outcomes, while post-surgical services aid recovery and maintain results.

Is there any downtime after visiting an aesthetician?

HydraFacial MD® has no recovery time. Chemical peels may cause mild redness and peeling lasting days (light peels) or longer (deep peels). SkinPen® microneedling may cause redness and sensitivity for 24 to 48 hours.

Are these treatments suitable for all skin types?

Many services, including VI Peel Advanced, are safe for all skin types, including sensitive and darker skin. Consultation determines most suitable treatments.

How often should I schedule aesthetician appointments?

Facials recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, light chemical peels every 4 to 8 weeks, and deep peels no more than once yearly. Microneedling is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, with 3 to 6 sessions recommended for optimal results.

What products do you suggest for at-home skincare?

Jennifer recommends products suited to skin type and goals during consultation, including medical-grade skincare products to address aging, acne, and hyperpigmentation, depending on your needs.

Is there an age requirement for aesthetician services?

Many treatments suit adults of all ages. For instance, some services can address younger people’s concerns like acne. Jennifer provides consultation guides with suitable solutions based on your age, skin condition, and desired outcomes.

Is it normal to experience redness or sensitivity after an appointment?

Yes, mild redness or sensitivity typically occurs after microneedling or chemical peels and typically resolve within hours to a couple days depending on procedure.

Do I need a referral from my surgeon to see the aesthetician?

No referral is required. You can schedule directly with Jennifer for a standalone skincare treatment, or coordinate your visit with your surgical team if you’re preparing for or recovering from a procedure.

How long does a typical aesthetician appointment take?

Most treatments take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the service. Your first visit may run a bit longer to allow time for a full skin consultation.

Will I see results after just one treatment?

Some treatments, like HydraFacial MD®, deliver visible results immediately. Others, such as microneedling and chemical peels, work progressively, with continued improvement over several weeks as the skin rebuilds collagen.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

We recommend arriving with a clean face and avoiding sun exposure and retinol products for a few days beforehand. Let Jennifer know about any recent procedures or changes to your skincare routine so she can tailor your treatment safely.

Do you offer packages or series pricing for multiple treatments?

Treatment series, such as multiple microneedling sessions, are often available at package pricing. Ask our team about current options during your consultation.
